My 8yr old loves this camp as much as i did when i was her age! Yes I went here from the time i was 7-15yrs old. They are so organized and seriously the most friendly and caring group of people I have ever met! I highly recommend to all. If you need accommodations or even carpooling they will help. After care had been a life saver for me, who can get there kids by 3:30pm and work full time. They have all the solutions solved for you. Just love them and refer all my daughters friends every year! See you next year!

I absolutely love Camp Sonshine! This is the kind of camp environment every child should get to experience. We’re now in our third summer here, and my child is happy, thriving, and gaining wonderful exposure to people from all over the world. The staff pour so much positivity into the kids—there’s genuine love and dedication in everything they do. The children are unplugged throughout the day, spending time in nature, engaging in interactive activities, water play, crafts, assemblies, and enjoying the freedom to make their own choices—like managing their own money at the camp store. They even learn generosity through the Giving Tree. Camp Sonshine has also been incredibly supportive and inclusive for children with neurodivergence, and I am deeply grateful for the space they’ve created for my child. I truly couldn’t ask for a better place for him to spend his summers!

I'm a first-time parent, and today was my 4 y/o kids first day. This is our first real experience having the kids go anywhere for extended periods without any family members. They ended up having a meltdown when trying to unload for arrival, but all the counselors remained patient, kind, and encouraging to not only my kids, but myself as well. Catherine specifically helped calm my kids down and helped get them having fun before they even got inside. I can't say enough how grateful I am for Camp Sonshine and their counselors in that moment, calming my kids and easing my anxiety. It was honestly a great experience as a first time parent, to have a staff able to simultaneously calm my kids and and me. I'm extremely excited to hear about how today goes and looking forward to the rest of their week!

I’ve been connected to camp for nearly 8 years, and I’ve loved every moment. The leadership is dedicated to growth and excellence, the staff each summer doing everything they can to embody the values of Camp Sonshine like integrity, safety, and make sure every kid they serve feels so much love and care. I’ve been so grateful to watch this program positively change the life of camper after camper! That’s not to mention the insane amounts of fun had by everyone involved! No program is perfect, but as far as summer camps go, Camp Sonshine does all it can to get it right. Would recommend to other parents 10/10 times!

Our children have been attending Camp Sonshine for years & absolutely love it. They are now getting involved in the Leader In Training Program. The staff is amazing & very energetic! They certainly do keep the kids busy with lots of activities, field trips, late stays and overnighters. I am touched by the notes that are hand written with much thought and care from the counselor each week for the kids. The management staff and the counselors are very welcoming and caring. Memories that last a life time are being made at Camp Sonshine. This is the only camp that we look to send our children to every summer.
