Powered by Googlecamp is my favorite place! I have been attending runoia for 6 years as a camper and I can say I definitely have had some awkward experiences I keep coming back! Camp is an amazing place to meet new people and create new relationships! My mom worked as a counselor back in the 90’s and when I first came to camp she started working again and is now apart of the all year staff as the assistant director and head of harmony land which is a perfect program for kids my age 13-15 who want to stay for a lesser time but still get the great camp runoia experience! My stepmom is also the renowned director and just celebrated her 30th year at camp! Camp will always be my second home!
Our girls attended Runoia last summer and had the most incredible experience. From day one, they felt welcomed and supported, and they quickly formed meaningful friendships that have lasted well beyond camp. The counselors were amazing — attentive, encouraging, and such positive role models. From our first phone call with the director, Ali we knew this was a special place. Our girls came home more confident, independent, and full of stories about new adventures and traditions. My older daughter is already excited about the island swim and has been practicing — which says everything about how much Runoia means to her. We’ve truly been hearing about Runoia all year long, and they cannot wait to return. It’s such a special, empowering place for girls to grow and thrive. Highly recommend!
My daughter has been attending Camp Runoia for four years, and it has truly become her favorite place on earth. If you're looking for a down-to-earth, caring community that feels like a second home, this is it. The staff are incredible and really take the time to get to know each kid as an individual, creating a sense of family and belonging. Runoia is also more diverse than many traditional camps, which was important to us. It's been the greatest gift we've given our daughter—an environment where she's been able to grow, build confidence, and take healthy risks in a supportive and joyful setting. I cannot recommend Camp Runoia more highly.
Camp Runoia is the absolute best camp! I love that it's an all girls camp, so there's non of the drama that comes with having boys around. I went as a counselor for 2 years in my 20's. Best experience and I learned so much! I wanted to find ways to go back even in my "adult" life. Then, I had 2 daughters and couldn't wait for them to get to experience the magic that is Camp Runoia! Our 1st year back was this year with my 5 and 8 yr old, and we look forward to going back for all the years to come! I truly love this place, and the people who started it and the ones who continue the traditions to this day! ❤️
My daughter loves this camp! Safe, fun and diverse activities. Lots of care goes into making this camp a special experience!
