One of the best camps for kids. We will always love bringing our kids here!

I’ve been coming to Camp Lakota for the past 4 years now and have loved every minute of it. It has a great community environment with friendly and supportive staff, which has created lifelong memories and friendships throughout the years. There is such a wide range of activities for the kids to experience with excellent facilities and lots of fun special events. Lakota will always hold a special place in my heart and am already counting down to next summer. Go Gray 🩶

I’ve spent the last five summers at Camp Lakota, and it’s become a really special place to me. What stands out most is how much the counselors and staff genuinely care about the campers. The focus is really on helping kids grow in confidence, learning independence, and building solid social skills, all while having a great time. There’s a great mixture of activities — from lake activities to arts and crafts and theatre, with plenty of sports in between. There really is something for everyone!

★★★★★Magical Memories Entertainment

We had a blast bringing the fun to Camp Lakota this Fourth of July! 🎆 Magical Memories Entertainment provided a dunk tank, cotton candy machine, and popcorn machine rental, and it was amazing to see the campers and staff enjoying every moment. The dunk tank was a crowd favorite, and the cotton candy and popcorn kept the energy (and sugar levels!) high all day long. A big thank you to the Camp Lakota team, your staff was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and made the setup and coordination smooth from start to finish. We love being part of events that bring people together and create unforgettable summer memories! 🍿💦🎉🩷

Camp Lakota is our home away from home. As 2nd generation campers 30 years ago, my sister and I couldn’t wait until our kids were old enough for us to send them. Nothing makes us happier than to see how they’ve fallen in love with Lakota the same way we did. I love that the traditions have carried on through the years and although some other things have changed, they’ve all been for the better! The activities cover every possible interest a child can have and the staff is absolutely phenomenal. But what I love most are the friendships my girls have made which I know will continue long past their years at camp like mine have. If you’re looking for a camp that has it all, Lakota is the place for you!!!
