30 years of the best memories I've ever created by attending DCITP! I attended this camp as a 3 year child and continued all way until adulthood. The friends I made there have become true family to me and I'm forever grateful for that. The DCITP office staff have become wonderful family friends to me and my family! The connections I made there and skills I learned there helped me become the teacher I am today! If I hadn't moved far away, I'd still be spending my summers there making more core memories! The property is gorgeous and very accommodating for all children!

Day Camp in the Park continues to be an amazing experience for all that have the opportunity to visit- even stay for a summer or two! Besides offering the unique beauty of nature, the camp allows for campers to build relationships, as well as other skills that may not be available elsewhere. As a teacher, it is amazing to see the equal amount of planning and care put into camp activities!

For 13 years, Day Camp in the Park has been my home away from home. The lifelong friends I’ve made and the unforgettable memories I’ve created there have shaped my life in ways I’ll always cherish. Thank you, DCITP!

I have been at Day Camp in the Park every summer since I was 5 years old. It is my second home, where I will always feel welcome. I have grown up here as a camper and worked as a counselor and CIT. There is endless activities and the fun never stops. The setting is perfect with enough shade on hot days, a beautiful lake for boating/fishing and swimming, and countless other activities. The camp staff is very friendly, understanding, and welcoming, and one big family that is always willing to give campers the best experience. DCITP helped me be the person I am today. I will always remember the memories and friends I made. I will be forever grateful. I highly recommend Day Camp in the Park for anyone who wants to find a summer camp with amazing staff where you can always have fun, feel safe, grow, and be confident. It will be the best summers you will ever have.

I’ve been part of this camp since my daughter was six years old—now, she’s about to turn sixteen. To say this place has been special to us would be an understatement. It has been our second home, a place where she grew up, where I found purpose, and where both of us built relationships that feel more like family than just friends. As the Sports Director, I might be a little biased, but I’ve seen the heart of this camp up close. It’s in the way the staff shows up every day with love and energy, in the laughter that fills the fields, and in the moments when a child accomplishes something they never thought they could. It’s a place where kids aren’t just campers—they’re seen, heard, and celebrated. Watching my daughter grow here—first as a camper, then as a leader—has been one of the greatest joys of my life. This camp has shaped her into the person she is today, and I know it’s done the same for so many others. If you’re looking for a place where kids feel safe, where they grow, and where summers turn into lifelong memories, this is it. I’m forever grateful for the love, the lessons, and the magic of this place.
