Camp Good Days & Special Times is a nonprofit that runs free weeklong summer camping sessions for children and families affected by cancer or sickle cell anemia, at a site on the western shore of Keuka Lake in the Finger Lakes. Programs are grouped by age and situation: a day-camp program for ages 4-7 who have or have had cancer or sickle cell anemia or who have a parent or sibling with cancer, and residential sessions for ages 8-12 and for adolescents ages 8-17, including a two-week session hosting children with cancer from around the world. The organization was founded in 1979 and also runs year-round programs and adult retreats. All programs and services are offered free of charge to participants.

Powered by GoogleI attended the women's camp. It was wonderful, but too short! I could have stayed a week and I wouldn't have been bored. The food was very good. The accommodations were ok - bunk beds, but everyone got a bottom bunk. Bring earplugs for the snorers. My favourite thing was being in the woodshop. I had such a great time and learned a lot. The woodshop volunteers were so patient and kind.
Kids affected by cancer and blood disorders and their siblings or children with a parent facing cancer go for free! My daughter loved going each year and she needed a daily infusion.
One of our prize clients. Doing God's work taking care of children with cancer. You should find a way to make a donation of some kind.
