Long Point Camp is a Salvation Army overnight camp on 138 acres of wooded hills, farmland and shoreline on the western side of Seneca Lake near Penn Yan. From late June to mid-August it runs seven separate week-long sessions of six days and five nights, each hosting roughly 190 children, with themed Summer Camp sessions for ages 6-12 and a Music Camp for ages 7-16. It is accredited by the American Camp Association and licensed by the New York State Department of Health. The camp is low- or no-cost and open to all children regardless of race, gender or religious orientation, with program fees varying by the family's area of residence.
