Opus Ithaca School of Music runs a set of week-long summer music camps, each built around a specific instrument or skill: Jazz Camp, Piano Camp (ages 8+ with at least two years of lessons, covering piano ensemble, pipe organ and harpsichord, improvisation, and ear training), Flute Camp (ages 8-18 with a year of experience, combining private lessons, chamber music, flute ensemble, masterclasses, and outdoor activities), Music Makers Camp for younger beginners, Summer Sing, a beginner strings ensemble, and a three-day chamber music workshop for intermediate to advanced string players ages 11 through adult. The school is a nonprofit based at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in downtown Ithaca.
