The Hangar Theatre's Next Generation School of Theatre is a summer camp for students ages 7-18, with classes in acting, singing, and dancing taught by professional artists who work nationally in the performing arts; campers are featured in the final KIDDSTUFF production of the season. The Hangar is a professional theatre in Ithaca that also presents the KIDDSTUFF series for young audiences, runs a week-long Spring Break-a-Leg camp for 4th-6th graders that ends in an original musical theatre piece, and sends artists into Ithaca-area elementary and middle schools to build original plays with classrooms. Session lengths and daily hours are not stated.

Went here on May 2nd, 2026 to see Steel Wheels. It was perfect, and not just because of the incredible band. The setting is intimate, the seats spacious and comfortable , the staff friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. Ample parking. We’re from Long Island, I despise long trips, but I can say this was definitely worth it! P.S. Bethany, good luck with your amazing 300 mile fundraiser, I am definitely contributing, you and the cause are awesome!

The show was amazing. Fever, The app that managed the show refused to cancel my tickets, due to a death in the family, and gave me a voucher that had to be used in 30 days. There’s nothing in my area in the next 30 days so that seems like a pointless way of handling money. Last time I’ll ever use Fever.

The Christmas Carol with Cocktails show we saw at the Hangar is hilarious! The cast is really skilled at working with the audience and improvising. The storytelling is really unique for such a timeless story. The cast creates and serves the drinks, so make sure you tip them at the end of the show! The venue is perfect for this type of show.

We saw a christmas cocktail carol at the Hangar theatre. What a fun experience! The actors were great, as was their rendition of the classic tale. The crafted cocktails between acts were an added bonus. Highly recommend!

Full marks as a concert venue. I don't know that everyone could do it for a rock show, but Cowboy Junkies' foh made this place sound like a slightly overgrown house show. And what a joy these seats were compared to 90% of theater seats. Scoping put the aerial view beforehand I expected to fight to park, but for the (less than capacity) show I saw there was no problem getting right into the lot.
