Camp CenterStage in Livermore, Maine holds such a special place in my heart and in my son’s life. He has attended this camp every summer since he was 8 years old and now as he is about to turn 16 he is continuing his journey there as a Counselor in Training. He has also had the opportunity to be part of their leadership camp which has only deepened his experience and growth. Over the years I have not just watched my son grow taller I have watched him grow into an incredibly kind, creative, confident, and amazing individual. I truly believe Camp CenterStage has played a huge role in shaping who he is today. There is something truly magical about this place. My son always talks about how the stars there are unlike anything you have ever seen. He feels it's truly a family. It is a place where kids can slow down, connect, and just be kids. And then there is the staff. The staff at Camp CenterStage are some of the most creative, caring, kind, and fun individuals I have ever encountered. I could list so many names but honestly if you are a staff member reading this it is YOU. Each and every one of you has played a meaningful role in these children’s lives. The impact you make goes far beyond a single summer. This camp is where memories are made the kind that last a lifetime. What is could be more special! Thank you Camp CenterStage for giving my son such a creative, fun, silly, meaningful, and safe space to learn, grow, and most importantly, play!

My daughter started going to camp centers stage when she was 10 years old. She calls it her home away from home. Camp centers stage is like family. Alexis and Stephen are amazing and the entire staff . My daughter is now 21 years old and works as a councilor at the camp. My son has also gone to camp for years. He is in his last year as a camper, as he will be 18 next year. My 2 nephews also attend as well as a family friend. I would recommend ccs to anyone.

I can't say enough good things about our son's experience at Camp CenterStage. He felt included from the second we pulled into the parking lot. The camp staff was wonderful about communication before, during, and even after camp, letting us know how he was doing and keeping us up to date on future camp sessions. We had no concerns about his safety the entire time he was there. He came home feeling confident not just in his ability to be part of a theater production, but confident in his own abilities to be successful independently and as part of a team. He can't wait to go back in 2026. Maine is now his "home away from home" and we're grateful to have found a place where he feels so comfortable being himself.

My daughter had the best time ever! First time! She had an amazing councilor that helped her through short lived homesickness and made her feel at ease! The final show was amazing! We loved it! She'll see you all next year!! What a blast!

Our teens need camp! A place to sing, dance, act and journal. Place to invent silly secrets with cabin mates. Long walks, smimming, and siesta! A respite from the worries of the world. For 17 days in July 2020, we saw our teen beam from ear to ear!
