Final update -canceling the spot program has not gone any smoother. Have called 4 times, and got the “I thought this was taken care of” excuse. When following up, also provided the wrong name for my child. I pay $300 + a mo for my son to attend the SPOT, and then, I paid an additional fee for their soccer program. (After wanting to sign up for flag football but that was canceled, and soccer was recommended BY MELVIN) It was “advertised” as 6 weeks of training followed by games starting in January. Practice was supposed to start 11/10, yet there has been 0 communication. No schedule, no list of what is needed such as uniforms etc. We asked on multiple different occasions what was going on, only to be told the program is being postponed/possibly cancelled until January. We were not offered a refund until we asked for one ourselves. Mind you, it’s not just a refund from their facility, but also a 3rd party to “verify” your child’s age. If we had not reached out, we would have had no idea what was happening. For the amount being charged for both the monthly program (let’s also think about paying the FULL monthly cost while kids are on holiday break from school, and the SPOT program isn’t needed), the additional sports fee, the lack of communication and organization is extremely disappointing. Parents deserve to be informed, and kids deserve better than confusion and letdowns. The hardest part is seeing how disappointed my son is. He was looking forward to this and had every reason to believe it was happening. This all could have been avoided with better communication and accountability. The fact I paid, and NO ONE reached out to inform us of anything…speaks volumes. I will not be signing my child for any sports program with this facility after this being our first experience with them. UPDATE 1 : When Picking Lucas up from The SPOT I asked about the refund with the front desk. They couldn't see what I was referring too, kept going to the back, then told me that it's being initiated, and I asked for a call from Melvin. To start-Melvin Bullitt called me about “flag football” not soccer, apparently their soccer program we had already paid for was actually NOT canceled nor postponed. So the information provided the day prior FROM HIS FACILITY was incorrect. Now, it’s even more upsetting and SHOWS they lack communication but are happy to take your money. At this point, I am frustrated, and will admit having an attitude. Melvin did not provide the best of customer service from the get go. Yet, he assured us the refund has been initiated. UPDATE 2: My husband called at 2, Melvin again said yeah yeah I'll get it taken care of. My husband asked me to follow up again to make sure, so when I called, Melvin got extremely rude, started asking me how much I paid, kept cutting me off, then asked for my husband to call him. I again, and am frustrated by all this. Now Melvin is saying he is going to ZELLE us a refund? How is that professional? How can he Zelle us if he had already initiated the refund like he told us? UPDATE 3: Refund was sent via zelle, as one transaction, not through original source of payment. UPDATE 4: When I picked my son up from the SPOT program today, I asked the 2 gentlemen sitting at the front desk (greeting and checking in members) what the cancellation policy was for The SPOT program as I figured there would be a 30 day policy, and wanted to be prepared. They both looked at me wide eyed and said “I don’t know…” literally comical at this point. You have KIDS answering phones and providing FALSE INFORMATION after parents have paid money for services. Coach Raichel stepped in, and was able to give me the information I needed. She’s very sweet, kind and listened to my concerns, DID NOT continue to try to talk over me, nor give attitude given my frustrations. All in all, MELVIN could have 100% handled this better, and more kindly. Instead, MADE US VERY AWARE how little he cares, was short tempered, quick to talk over you, and make assumptions.

We were a little nervous to try something new after our daughter had been in the same after-school care for 6 years, but we are so glad we made the switch to The Spot at Bullitt! We have absolutely fallen in love with the program—and especially with Ms. Raichel. She goes above and beyond for our daughter every single day, and it’s clear how much she cares. Our daughter looks forward to The Spot more than anything else and comes home talking about how much fun she has. It has truly become her favorite part of the day. We couldn’t be happier with the care, attention, and joy this program brings to her life!

We moved our two boys (6 & 9) from the after care at Primrose (they aged out) to The Spot at the Bullitt Experience and we love it! The lady who runs the program, Raichel, is absolutely amazing with my boys. We wanted a place that they could exercise and learn new sports and they come home sweaty and happy everyday because of Raichel. I went to pick them up the other day and she was playing football with my kids! We've never met someone who connected with my kids like her. (They talk to her more than their us!) Amazing program and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an after care change. Your kids will be in great hands with Raichel!
