★Faith HinesAt first I really enjoyed this neighborhood gym. That was before I needed to cancel my membership. I did so accordingly and well before the 10 days before the next billing. I even received a confirmation of my cancelation request, and yet I am still being billed. At this point the YMCA is stealing my money after I did everything I was instructed to do. It is truly disheartening and quite perplexing that a Christian organization would demonstrate such duplicitous practices. I want my hard earned money back and I will proceed with disputing these fraudulent charges with my bank as necessary. It is really unfortunate that the YMCA would treat members this way.
★★Houston CatI use the YMCA for indoor swimming. They have a nice lap pool. I have swam here 8 times. It closed early 2X's both 45 minutes to closing once for ph once for lightning. (It wasn't raining) Coincidence?Another time a waterpolo group took over my lane 1/2 way into my swim and I had to share a lane with another swimmer. With my senior discount it is $60 a month. A little on the high side compared to some other gyms. The hours are strange to me they close early on friday 7:30 and very early on Saturday 3:00 PM and Sunday 4:00 PM. I am sure they have other activities but for my needs this isn't the spot for me. I won't be renewing my membership.
