Weeklong summer nature camps at a 155-acre urban nature sanctuary near Houston's Memorial Park. Campers ages 4-12 explore the outdoors through guided nature walks, games, time on the Nature Playscape, and indoor crafts, with a different nature theme each week. Half-day (9am-12pm) sessions are offered for ages 4-6 and full-day (9am-3pm) for older kids, running June through early August.

★★★★★Anup ParikhGreat place to find nature therapy. My only suggestion is they, at a minimum, add 1-2 electric vehicle (EV) charging stations here. Every time I visit there are multiple EVs. This will only continue to grow and it would help support Houstonians and visitors while keeping our air clean. Just need to update a few of the fuel efficient spaces with EV chargers. I recommend reaching out to local Houston company Pangea Charging if you decide to install chargers.
★★★★wa “Omniwar” wOverall a good place to hike. The major flaw is one side of the reserve is right next the the highway. You probably won't see any animals as thats the purpose of a reserve. Various ponds are scattered through the arboretum.

There is a specific designated space tucked away in the trees that feels incredibly private and magical. The natural light filtering through the canopy is a dream for photos, and the atmosphere is so serene. It’s hard to believe you’re right in the middle of Houston. We recently did a December wedding here with a live violinist, and the acoustics among the nature trails were stunning. If you are looking for a venue that feels organic, peaceful, and timeless for an intimate celebration, this is it. It’s a hidden gem that never fails to provide a gorgeous backdrop for my clients!
