Bradford Woods is Indiana University's outdoor education and therapeutic recreation center near Martinsville, and the home of Camp Riley, an overnight summer camp for children with physical and cognitive diagnoses that has run since 1955. Eight sessions are grouped by diagnosis and support ratio and serve campers ages 8-18 (plus an adult session), including Camp About Face for craniofacial anomalies, Camp Hi-Lite for Down syndrome, Camp Independence for sickle cell and other blood disorders, and Camp Kan Du. Facilities and activities are designed to be barrier-free, and physicians from Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health provide 24-hour on-site medical coverage with nurses and a pharmacy team. Camp Riley is funded by Riley Children's Foundation, which ensures no camper is turned away due to financial need; more than 320 campers attend each year.

Powered by GoogleMy husband and I went here for maple syrup day. It was a lot of fun. The day was brisk but the walk was nice. We had pancakes & sausage. It was very good. We bought a t-shirt and some maple syrup.
No words can genuinely express how much I hated IT there when i went there two years ago in fifth grade,Saying this as a seventh grader,All I can say is the fat that the only good things is most likely just activities you get to do there, there food is honestly terrible when it’s being served to the students, there food is horrible, the cabins are dirty, and honestly why are the showers so small there?,now looking at it, it’s changed a whole lot
I agree with all the positive comments, but I also want to add: the cabins and buildings have AIR CONDITIONING! So much more comfortable in the summer!
I set up a retreat at Bradford Woods and we stayed in the Bradford Manor. There was easy access right off St. Rd. 67. It is a beautiful facility and worked really well for our group of about 20. With so many rooms (including the living room, solarium, and library) it was very convenient to hold several activities or discussions at once. The decor was charming with lots of antiques and photos showing the history of the house. The staff was extremely friendly and pleasant, and everyone we worked with was very responsive and helpful. The trails were great for exercise or contemplation. The only downside is that the food was pretty institutional tasting. It wasn't awful, just not excellent. Overall, I would highly recommend the location.
Awesome place!.a relaxing retreat and all the people there are really personable. Facilities are very clean. I would recommend this place for your business meetings, business retreats or kids with disabilities. I have been to many places for our business in many states, this is my favorite by far! Thanks for the great experience. Did not seem like work at all.
