One can never say enough about the Boys and Girls Club Periodt!!! So much comes from their programs and staff that is not easy to account. The staff at the Haverhill Boys & Girls Club offer one thing much greater than the programming that is awesome. This particular corp of staff has offered consistency in the lives of many Haverhill youth over the years that I've been able to witness. Trustworthy dedicated individuals who model good leadership in the community as well as the club.

GOOD PLACE TO GOOO TOO OK, it has camp where you get to have breakfast and lunch with tables layed outside, but during the periods, you get pool, a lake to swim and fish in, vollyball, baseball field where you get to play wiffle ball, base ball with a tenis and racket or even kick ball. There is also a basketball court where you can play basketball or even pickle ball and etc. Also, a playground to play tag or even rest and take a break on. And even an art room to make art and etc. The most thing that I like and the other kids like is on Fridays, where you can have bouncey houses, rock climb, water slides, obstacle courses, ice cream, popsicles, cona ice, you can also get to see reptiles, and more to come. There is also a thing that teens can sign up for to stay at the boys and girls club after camp 13 and over. Ima talk about the counselors and the mentor in training. They are very nice as long as you don't get in to trouble. They do award you sometime if the whole group behaves and follow instructions and follow the rules. We get cabins where you can put your stuff and leave it there, we got a emergency cabin where you can get stuff during emergencies or when you get hurt. Now, let's talk about the after-school program. There are multiple rooms you can go ok to like the gym to play games or sports, the game room to play video games and card games etc, the tween room where you have to be 11 and over and you get to play video games and talk to people, nice cosy area. Then we got the teen room, 13 and over, where you get to play computers, play video games, and talk to people. Then we got the iDesign room where you can go on laptops, do activates, etc. Now we have the learning lab where you get to learn new things like math facts and other stuff, and along with that, multiple fun activities.

My wife and I donated her old Hairdryers, Curling Irons and Blow dryers that she hasn't used in year. Shout out to the Director Eric Magee who enthusiastically accepted everything because he has a Mentor class of Professional Hairdressers Comin in to Volunteer their time and to show the young ladies how to do Hair!! Great facility! My daughter loves it. Some of the staff members could do better with organization or customer service skills but I never question how much they care about my kid. They make up for it where it counts. It's a non-profit organization and I really think they give the children so much love & care. It truly shows in the facility. They are constantly improving and upgrading. I can see on every child's face they enjoy going there ... kids from all different walks of life have something to look forward to- it's truly a Clubhouse for them. I have moved away from Haverhill but I still go out of my way to bring my daughter to BGC-Haverhill. Year 3 and I am very impressed with the Camp Tasker summer program. I will continue to bring my daughter for as long as I can. I'm sure the other programs are great but Camp Tasker in particular is a little piece of heaven for my daughter. No exaggerating! They're the BEST at Boys & Girls Club Haverhill!
