Aspen Parks and Recreation

City of Aspen Recreation runs Aspen City Camp, a full-day summer day camp at the Aspen Elementary School cafeteria from June 1 to August 11 (no camp June 19 or July 3), Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. It serves ages 5-10 entering kindergarten through 4th grade, is licensed as a childcare program by the Colorado Department of Human Services and is staffed by qualified counselors. Registration is per day at least 48 hours ahead and costs $55 per day for Roaring Fork Valley primary residents or $68 for non-residents, with financial assistance for qualifying resident families and additional fees for some field trips. It is a screen-free camp and campers pack a cold lunch and two snacks daily.
