The Snowmass Recreation Center runs the Town of Snowmass Village's classic five-day summer day camp, held every weekday from early June through mid-August. Campers rotate through music, art, field trips and outdoor games, and enrolment is open by the day or the week through the town's registration portal. The camp is licensed by the state for ages 5-14, with most campers between 5 and 11; drop-off is 8:00-9:00am at Town Park Station and pick-up is 4:30-5:00pm. Families pack a sack lunch, two snacks and a drink, though some food is available for purchase at the center. The rec department also runs separate mountain biking, fencing, swim lessons and youth tennis clinics.

★★★★★Hunting for amazing food.

Did the Vista hike up to Elk Camp. Challenging but rewarding. 3 hrs round-trip for an average hiker.

Only rating on what I used it for- showers for Ragnar. Locker rooms were pretty nice, but honestly the community shower room was surprising. Kinda thought Aspen was swanky and would have individual showers like most modern rec centers; must be older. Still, the employee was nice and I am sure the rest of the facilities are great.

Great all around rec center. Yes the weight room could be better, or the cardio room, or the lap pool, but all in all, svrc has all you might need in one spot. Staff is great and super friendly. Dan, the manager is great and absolutely hands on.

They have basketball courts tennis courts swimming pool and anything else rec center should have. The people are kind and they have a snack bar with good snacks for good prices. They also have a gym a decent size locker room with showers. Their pool isn’t cold and the hot tub isn’t too hot. This is a perfect rec center with a bunch of great activities.

Place is constantly not opening on time. In the past two weeks, the individual responsible for opening doesn't show up till 6, sometimes 630. I PAY for this service and it can't even open on time, putting me behind on my normal routine. Even as I write this, at 6am, on September 26, it's not even open yet patron after patron show up. Literally two people standing at the door waiting to get in Place had great amenities but charges too much per customer compared to other rec centers in the area. *update, 6:30 and still not open
