The Waldorf School on the Roaring Fork runs week-long summer camps on its 13-acre Carbondale campus bordered by the Roaring Fork River, running Monday–Friday 8:30am–3:00pm from June 1 through July 31. Early Childhood camps for ages 3–5 center on outdoor time, wetland hikes, garden work, storytelling, singing and crafts, with homemade organic snacks daily. Seventeen camps for ages 6–14 span Mandarin immersion, beginner and intermediate fly fishing on private river access, circus arts and aerials, biodynamic gardening, crochet and cooking, craft engineering and outdoor adventure skills. Weekly tuition runs $425–$455, some camps include camper-made lunch, and financial support is available through the school's business administrator.
