Ascendigo Autism Services is a Roaring Fork Valley nonprofit whose flagship Summer Adventures camp serves people on the autism spectrum ages 7 and up, offered as both residential and day camp options across eight weekly sessions. Campers are supported by trained sports specialists and coaches at a 1:1 staff-to-camper ratio and are encouraged but never required to try activities including rock climbing, horseback riding and lake sports, using outdoor venues around Carbondale and Aspen. State regulations require youth and adult (18+) participants to be grouped separately.
