Artbarn Community Theater runs Summer at The Barn, a musical theatre day camp for students entering grades 2-8, held at the Church of Our Saviour in Brookline. The day mixes theater workshops - acting technique, character creation, music, dance and choreography, improvisation, playwriting, stage combat, and set, props and costume design - with rehearsals for a fully staged musical and daily outdoor time and group games on the site's two lawns. Two distinct three-week sessions run 9:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday, each ending in a performance for family and friends (2026: Seussical Jr. and Frozen Jr.). Artbarn is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and offers tuition assistance.
