Our family cannot say enough wonderful things about Anothen! My son (now in kinder) started in the 2’s class in 2022. From day one, the teachers and staff have poured genuine love and compassion into him, shaping him into the confident, kind, and curious little boy he is today. They patiently helped him through early separation anxiety and always reassured us with warmth and understanding. The school is centered on the love of Jesus, and that shines through in every interaction. The community is incredible, with family events like fall festivities, a Christmas tree lighting, spring fling and more! Even as the school has grown, communication is seamless—teachers and staff are always easy to reach. One thing that stands out to me is that no matter the day, I’ve always been greeted with a smiling face by teachers and staff. You can genuinely see they are happy there. And happy teachers create happy classrooms! Anothen gave our son the tools to become truly independent encouraging responsibility, problem-solving, and self-confidence while still nurturing his gentle heart. When he started public kindergarten, he was not only on track but ahead in many areas academically and showing maturity. He also gained a deep appreciation for nature, animals/critters, and art! Now our three-year-old daughter is enrolled and loving it just as much! You won’t find another preschool that blends faith, excellent education, and the freedom for kids to be kids as beautifully as this one. We are so grateful for this remarkable place and the lasting impact it has on our children.

What a blessing Anothen is!!!! It's the most wonderful place! Nature, scripture, worship songs, hymns, outdoors, Spanish, sewing, cooking, plus math and language arts! You can't have a better place for your kiddos! This was an answer to my prayers! My daughter cries to go anywhere and has not liked being away from her family. This is the one place she has loved and happy to go!!! It's a must!!! ! ♡♡♡♡ Thank you for all the amazing people that help Anothen be amazing place it is, yall work hard!!!!

This is a dream come true for my son! It’s everything we love about Camp Anothen plus academically preparing him for Kinder! He comes home tired and so happy! This environment is amazing for my child. I love the European Forest Preschool inspiration their program uses. I could not envision my child in a preschool, sitting at a little table, like his older siblings did. The fact that the children go outside to hike around the woods, explore and take their class lessons outside sold me. My 4-year-old will randomly point out a plant or an unshelled pecan. They play in muddy puddles when they can and sit in the sunshine with fresh air on them for hours. He is still learning all the preschool things like starting to sound out letters and small words & write. This morning he informed me it was time we planted watermelon seeds and how we need to care for them so they will grow in time for summer. They say there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothes. Layer them up on cold mornings so that they can un-layer as the day warms up. We send extra clothes in his bag for dirty days. He keeps his rain boots & a raincoat there. We bought him waterproof winter ski gloves & water repellent winter coat. He wears little waterproof hiking boots most days. They ask we send sunscreen & bug repellent in at the beginning of the school year, so you guessed it, naturally I sent in sweatproof sun screen & a bug repellent for not only mosquitoes, ticks and flies. The property is covered in woods and kids are not in direct sun very much but I appreciate their concern. If you are looking for a preschool and are in the are, I recommend you go take a look. Not only is the concept amazing, the property is a wonderland, the building is perfect but also the teachers are some of kindest and most caring. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you check it out.
