Mt. Lebanon is a Christian overnight camp on 1701 Texas Plume Rd in Cedar Hill, Texas, running Kids Camps for children who have completed grades 3-6 and Student Camps for older youth. Sessions are three to four nights and combine worship and Bible teaching with a large activity roster: ziplines, a sky trail and ropes course, climbing walls, swimming pools, sports and basketball and volleyball courts, archery, mini golf, a hike to Inspiration Point and campfires. Campers must register through a participating church group - individual registrations are not accepted - and every adult leader must hold a Texas-approved Child Protection Training certificate. The camp posts its Texas youth camp license and DSHS contact information.

★★★★LB inTXI haven't been to similar facilities in the area, so don't have anything similar to compare to, but I was generally pleased with our stay here. I was with a group of students for a weekend retreat. The cabin we stayed in was spacious and worked for our needs. 4 small couches, plenty of folding chairs in the large shared living space. Restrooms, the common area and kitchen were generally clean - yes, some bugs and dirt, but not unexpected for what it is. The main things that would be appreciated are: screens on the windows so we could have gotten some cross ventilation (we had beautiful weather with mild temps, but it did get stuffy inside - but a ton of crane flies outside we didn't want getting in with wide open doors/windows); some basic supplies like paper towels and cleaning supplies (only 2 brooms, a push broom and one small towel were in the closet), and; some sort of water supply away from the cabins is needed. The camp store was not open during our stay, which we had assumed it would be, so purchasing any snacks/drinks wasn't possible. The staff that assisted us with team building and activities were good and the group enjoyed that time. Breakfast/lunch/dinner was good enough for our group, though for the price, the Sunday breakfast was a bit paltry (some fruit, prepackaged pastries and yogurt). Chicken strips one day and mac & cheese another day were a hit. All of the staff we interacted with were polite and helpful. The location isn't too far outside of town, but it felt like the middle of nowhere. Lots of space, even when one of the days the property was quite busy. Overall, I'd recommend Mt. Lebanon for any team building retreat that your group may be looking for.
