Beware of this place. There was a situation in sauna that a member reported and I was accused of doing something that I did not do. I have emailed the local branch, board of directors to try to clear this up and give information to them to help clear this up and no response. I had an employee tell me that they know that it was not me that was reported but I was banned from the YMCA. I just want to be able to tell my side and help to clear this up. But they will not respond. Lots of gay activity in showers and sauna but they don’t want to know the truth I guess.

The YMCA has been such a great part of my routine and overall well-being. The environment is welcoming, clean, and genuinely inclusive, it never feels intimidating or judgmental, which makes it a really comfortable place to show up and work on yourself at any stage of your fitness or wellness journey. The staff are kind, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. Whether it’s answering questions, helping you find a class, or just greeting you with a smile, they make the place feel like a community rather than just a gym. I also love the variety of equipment, classes, and programs they offer, there’s truly something for everyone. From fitness and wellness to family and community support, the YMCA does an amazing job of serving the whole person, not just physical health. Overall, the YMCA is a positive, supportive space that makes it easier to stay consistent, motivated, and connected. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a gym that actually feels like a community.

Its some people that attend there that are racist. I had a couple of situations there that made me uncomfortable. I think if you dont like to work out in the same place as darker people than go to a private gym. This supposed to be a place for everybody but that's not the case at all....

WOW!!! I always thought the Y was something else, but once I sign up, I strongly believe every citizen should get a membership here. 1. The hospitality is freaking awesome- staff remembers everyone name- your not just a number. 🏋️🏋️‍♀️🏋️‍♂️💪🏃🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ 2. It’s has more than a gym!!!!! I love the innovation that this organization has, with music classes and technology, like podcast studios, actual recording studios! 🎸🥁🎧🎤🎵🎼🎹 3. What I loved about this Y, is that it’s in the heart of downtown and the building has so much character! Yes high tech equipments and modern looks can be good but there’s something about this Y that feels great & cool, beside the cool pool🏊🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️ From a full basketball court to saunas, this place actually has pretty much everything that a family or single person would need. I’ll be honest it can be a little pricey membership but hey we can all skip a meal🤪. I heard they help the community with those who can’t get the membership, not sure how it works but this organization gives so much the community. PS: It’s actually has an indoor track upstarts 🤩🤩🤩 Perhaps it’s the people 😉

Great environment, large gym along with indoor & outdoor tracks are great! Would be nice if pool had towels, racquetball has equipment. Staff are always kind & helpful.
