Acting Out! Theater Company, a nonprofit in Lawrence, runs four performance-driven summer sessions grouped by the grade a student is entering: Shine (grades K-3) staging High School Musical Kids, Showcase (grades 4-6) staging Fame Jr., and Center Stage (grades 7-9 and 10-12) staging The Prom, School Edition. Every registered student is guaranteed a role, and each session ends in a live performance. Campers bring their own lunch, snacks and water and should wear clothes and shoes they can dance in. Daily hours are not published on the site; the registrar handles placement questions.
