Youth Island New York is a nonprofit founded in 2017 that supports elementary through college students academically, socially and spiritually across Queens and Brooklyn. Its programs include after-school classes and tutoring, a robotics club, SAT prep, a soccer league, weekend school, college guidance, and summer and winter camps. A recent summer offering was a four-day tent camp at Wildwood State Park with tents, beach access, sports, swimming, campfire discussions and reflections. The learning center itself operates weekday afternoons at 43-49 45th St in Sunnyside, Queens; camp ages are not stated.
