Young Kings Basketball is a Pasadena youth basketball program for kids ages 3–15, founded by former NBA player Yaroslav Korolev. It runs year-round group skills classes (dribbling, passing, shooting and gameplay at an 8:1 ratio), after-school programs across the Pasadena/Glendale area, an invite-only travel team, and a summer camp with daily sessions open to all skill levels.

Powered by GoogleIt was worst experience my kids needed to go through there. The instructors were under qualified and not enough instructors to watch all kids behavior. I do not recommend this place at all.
My son loves basketball and had participated in some local classes, but was looking for better coaching and wanted to compete in games. We found Young Kings online and joined without knowing anyone on the team and he’s hooked! The coaching is top notch and we have seen our son go from an average player to one with skill and knowledge. The staff is professional and positive. They emphasize sportsmanship and working as a team as much as they do plays and skill. We’ve now been with Young Kings for about a year and a half and cannot recommend them enough.
We are so thankful to have found the Young Kings basketball organization. Coach Yari and team are very organized, professional and caring. Coach Yari has discovered the perfect balance of care, discipline, and motivation to be the best. My son WILLINGLY fights to meet the organizations expectations. He is actually excited to be the best. I think that speaks to how good he feels to be part of Young Kings. The thing I love most about the coaching at YK is that they demand answers from kids in order to see what a child is thinking when he or she making a mistake. That way coaches are able to help the kids by changing their attitude, thinking or whatever is hindering them from advancing in that particular skill.
My son has been at Young Kings for 4 years and started when we were looking for some local basketball programs in the area. What I like about Coach Yaro and his coaching staff is that they motivate and challenge the Young Kings players to improve their skills, confidence, and decision making at every practice. After every practice and club game, my son tells me he's had lots of fun!
We are impressed with the level of professionalism and skill the entire Young Kings Staff demonstrate to our son (and other kids). The drills, techniques, and overall practice plans are truly remarkable. Highly recommend Young Kings Basketball for the dedicated and serious basketball players who want to work hard on their development.
