Powered by GoogleHonestly this daycare center has been a perfect fit for our family and I'm so grateful to the staff, from the office staff who helped me with enrollment and getting a spot for my children while I was in the process of moving, to the daycare center staff themselves. Everyone has been so kind, helpful, and professional. What really surprised me and stood out to me on our first day was how clean the daycare center was and how organized and safe it was. There are designated places to sign your children in and out each day and the staff are very diligent in checking your ID and making sure that you're authorized to pick up the children. The staff are also very nice and friendly. They have excellent customer service skills and are always the first to greet you in the morning and in the evening for drop-off and pick-up. They document everything and make sure that parents are aware of every requirement at the center from your first day and honestly even before your first day. I say all this because I read other reviews of this daycare center and I was nervous because those reviews were very negative. I don't know what daycare center they were reviewing but it's not the one that I've experienced. In fact what I've experienced at YMCA Juruba Valley is exactly the opposite: a caring, friendly team that is professional and helpful at all times. My two girls, who are 21 months old and four years old, absolutely love their new school and tell me every day how much they love their teachers and how many friends they've made in their class. This kind of peace of mind has really made a difference for our family and I'm very grateful to this daycare center for providing such an excellent experience for my children.
I would not recommend this child learning center to other parents. My child experienced repeated issues with bullying, including being punched, slapped, and pushed to the point of bruising. Despite bringing these concerns forward, nothing meaningful was done to resolve the situation or ensure my child’s safety. The most concerning incident was when my child came home with a gash inside her mouth, and we were never informed or contacted by staff. We only discovered it because she was crying in pain afterward. As a parent, it is extremely upsetting to realize your child was injured under someone else’s care and no communication was made. Additionally, Teresa Garcia, who works in administration, was completely unprofessional throughout the process and did not help address any of the concerns we raised. Instead of support or accountability, our concerns were dismissed. Parents deserve transparency, communication, and a safe environment for their children, and unfortunately that was not our experience here.
Just on the phone setting my child up for child care and the girl was rude and doesn’t not seem to like her job. I will not trust my child be cared for by a workplace like that
My son loves coming here. The teachers and staff are super helpful. Thank you 🙏🏾
