The West Hartford YMCA runs Camp WeHa, a traditional summer day camp for children ages 5-12 operated by the YMCA of Greater Hartford. Camp meets from 9:00am to 3:30pm with before- and after-care available, and financial aid is offered based on household income.
The practical details
We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Ymca West Hartford directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.

Powered by GoogleThis is not a regular YMCA, these are the offices of the YMCA. VERY DISAPPOINTED and a big waste of time!
My 2.5 year-old son has been doing the Stepping Stones preschool program for about 5 months now, and it has been a great experience for us. He gets to socialize with children his age, play fun activities and make arts and crafts. It's also a great precursor to prek-3 that he will be starting in the fall, as he is adjusting to being away from home for a few hours a week. We love it!
The West Hartford brings so much to the town of West Hartford. The entire team demonstrates their dedication to the people and the children of the community everyday, whether through fun events and sports with the kids or supporting those in need. Shawn, Bernadette, and the entire staff are awesome people who are committed to bettering themselves and everyone around them. My 5 year old daughter loves the Y and has been involved in their swim, sports, and camps since 6 months old. Thank you to the Y for everything you do!
