My kids only swim here so we are not looking for a membership. However, swim lessons have become more expensive for the amount of sessions. Now if you want your kids to keep going one session after another, its about $190 for 8 weeks for 1 kid. Used to be like $110-126. The 5/6 level went up to $140 some months ago but for only 7 sessions. It's probably really high now. They do not make up classes for menstruating girls which is unfair. I called their DEI person about it, and have never gotten an update.

I’ve been really impressed with this YMCA. The facility is clean, spacious, and truly feels like a place where the whole family can come together. As a parent, I love that I don’t have to choose between my fitness goals and spending time with my son — the YMCA makes it easy to bring everyone along and feel welcome. I have to highlight Jayla, because she has genuinely elevated my experience here. Her step class is the perfect mix of fun, challenging, and high-energy. She has an incredible way of breaking moves down so everyone feels included, whether you’re brand-new or experienced. The community she builds in that room is unmatched. I’ve also done personal training sessions with her, and they were extremely informative and self-rewarding. Jayla takes the time to understand your goals, explains every movement, and motivates you in a way that feels supportive — not overwhelming. I walked away each session feeling stronger, more confident, and more knowledgeable about my body. If you’re considering joining the YMCA or looking for a class that will actually keep you consistent, Jayla’s step class and personal training sessions are 100% worth it. Highly recommend this location and the entire team.

Great staff, equipment, and space. The fitness staff is so nice and the small group classes are worth the money. The work out area has lots of machines, good free weights and decent space for a city gym. Also good views of watching people try to parallel park on broadway. Big downside, people are absolutely terrible at reracking their weights.

The convenience of having this facility while living downtown is phenomenal! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The monthly cost for a single person is $54 which is a little pricey but I think well worth it. Having a pool and basketball court in the winter to go to definitely helps with restlessness in the cold months in the D. I haven't tried the rock climbing wall yet but it seems like older kids love it. The gym is not bad, it could use some more equipment but overall it gets the job done. There are also plenty of free classes you can sign up for throughout the week.

I found the facility to be excellent. It was clean. The staff was attentive and helpful. The area surrounding was walkable and parking was convenient. Enjoyed an evening at their cozy theater.
