For a Y camp this is a pretty rock on summer camp. It has all the traditional summer camp stuff and also has an amazing hiking area. They are amazing at handling all types of kids and all types of possible behavior issues. When it rains badly they can go inside. When it’s super hot, they get double swimming, creek access and other water play. They have am and pm care. I really think Paul is great director to speak to about any issues. It’s as traditional New England summer day camp as it can get. Which is perfect for little busy bodies.

Went here as a kid. Was expecting the same experience for my child. So far the buses are never on time and actually forgot to pick up one morning. Today, June 20th, the temp feels like 104. We kept our child home however I did call today and ask if the kids are inside, I was told no that they are allowed to sit in the shade. I might be a little over protective but that seems crazy to me and dangerous. This will be the first and last time I send one of my children here.

We used the YMCA Camp Chase grounds for professional development. The area was clean and there were lots of fun things to do like the giant balloon to jump on, a long slide, and a small water area the organizers turned on for us to cool off.

My son went to Camp Chase and loved it there. The bus transportation to and from the camp allowed me to get to work on time and pick him up which was a big selling point for me. He swam every day in the pool and did things like archery, ropes course elements and made some new friends. He liked it so much, we signed up for a summer pool membership there and spent almost every weekend going as a family.
