We enrolled our son at Wonder Academy with high hopes after it was recommended by a trusted friend, but unfortunately our experience was deeply disappointing and concerning. As first-time parents, I initially assumed some of what we were experiencing might be normal daycare adjustment issues. However, after speaking with other parents who were horrified by some of the incidents we described, and who shared that they had removed their own children from daycares for far less, I realized these were not things we should have been expected to accept. During the short time he attended, there were repeated concerns involving his care and safety, including multiple bite injuries, being sent home in diapers and clothes that were not his, severe diaper rashes, and several occasions where we picked him up crying alone in a corner while staff appeared disengaged. I also personally witnessed another child straddling my son while he was face down on the floor and repeatedly hitting him on the back and neck. The teacher did not even turn around or intervene until my son began screaming. Even then, there was little response or comfort offered to him afterward. There was also a day we picked him up only to discover he had pink eye and a 103 fever. We were never notified that he was sick. We had to take him straight to urgent care, and he ended up hospitalized for three days on oxygen. While illness can happen anywhere, the lack of communication and attentiveness was alarming. After deciding to withdraw him for his safety, I sent a detailed and respectful email outlining our concerns. I also asked that they make things right by not charging us for the required month notice period given the circumstances. We never received any response. Instead, we were blocked from accessing the Procare app and sent a generic exit email that still listed his name as “Boy.” I do not leave negative reviews lightly, but parents deserve transparency when choosing care for their children. Our experience showed a lack of supervision, communication, professionalism, and accountability. I cannot recommend Wonder Academy based on what our family experienced.

We love the friendly faces every time we walk in the door and we absolutely love the curriculum that they are learning in each of their classrooms. My daughter’s motivation to want to go to school is always “I want to see Ms. Karly & Mrs. Shy!”, teachers always make sure that take home books and academic standards are met, they make sure to professionally inform us of everything going on with our daughter.

It’s an outstanding facility that prioritizes safety. Communication is exemplary, and the premises are consistently clean and welcoming. His teachers are a truly inspiring example of love and dedication for their profession.
