Willie Wilson Theatre Arts Group (TAG) is a children's musical theatre organization founded in 1999 that began in the Westwood school district and now runs school-district programs, seasonal after-school programs and three summer theatre camps across North Jersey. It has produced 175 full productions involving more than 7,000 children from over 75 New York and New Jersey towns, and states a mission of creating a safe space for young performers. Founder Willie Wilson was a 2023 Tony nominee for Excellence in Theatre Education. Camp ages, sessions and hours are not published.

★★★★★Julie LentMy daughter is currently performing in her first lead role for Willie Wilson production and what a journey it's been! She is having the time of her life playing Mary Poppins! When I think back to her very first TAG production outside of what she did for her elementary school, she was mad at me for signing her up, wouldn't sing for her audition, asked to be the monkey in Aladdin and wanted NO singing and NO lines! I had to sit in the hallway during every practice so she could see I was there and with the help of her therapist, get her to stay in the room for 10 minutes, come to me for a break, then back in another ten minutes, etc. Her anxiety was off the charts and then through TAG, she started to let all that anxiety go and show her true self in every aspect of her life. Those who have known her throughout her whole life can't believe where she is at today and are in awe of her transformation. Seeing her now as Mary Poppins, a lead role, is all because of TAG and the incredible people who make up this theatre group! Her journey of transformation has been incredible to watch and our family could not be more grateful for you all. They gave us our daughter as her true, authentic self. This mama's heart is forever grateful. And man is she having FUN! Tapping and singing each night at home and waking up so excited for Wednesdays. That's what it's all about!
