White Bird Productions runs week-long summer theater camps in which students in grades K-9 write, rehearse, and perform an original show each week with professional theater artists, on themes ranging from Rock Opera to MTA Melodrama to Revolution, closing with a Friday performance. Sessions run from late June through late August at the Prospect Park Picnic House and at Old First Reformed Church in Park Slope, split by grade band (rising K-3rd and rising 4th-8th). After Camp runs Monday through Thursday, 3:00-6:00pm, at Park Slope United Methodist Church. The organization has been making theater with young artists in Brooklyn for over 30 years.
