West Orange Tennis Club at 1448 Pleasant Valley Way runs ROGY (Red, Orange, Green, Yellow) junior tennis summer camps for children ages 4 and up, following the USTA's level-based ball and court progression. Camp weeks centre on focused drills and games that build technique and match play, with an optional yoga add-on that starts the day at 8:45am. Weeks are booked on a summer camp contract and drop-ins are approved case by case depending on space, player level and director approval. The club accepts cash or check only.

Powered by GoogleI reserved court for my Boss and family. I have received confirmation emails and my credit card was charged. But team on the ground declined to provide access to my Boss's family saying its not paid for and they kept asking them to show evidence. In spite of showing receipts, team kept declining. And the behavior was rude. Tried calling the facility multiple times, no one is picking up calls.
The team at West Orange Tennis Club is amazing. Uddy and Dillon go above and beyond for the kids. My daughter loves this place and has made some really good friends. The staff are truly valuable and attentive.
Calling all tennis fans. It’s a wonderful indoors facility with many outdoor courts for their summer programs as well. Check their schedule for the available sign-up options 🎾
We are a tennis-loving family and have had experience with a number of clubs and programs in the area. We ended up at West Orange due to a disappointing experience at another club and with another pro, but in the end it was the best thing that could have happened. My daughter met Mahendra at West Orange's day camp and she wanted to start regular lessons with him. In the past three years since she's been working with him her game has improved dramatically and she is having very good competitive results. At this point I wish she started with him sooner! I've also taken lessons with Mahendra and other pros at the club, and it's been a great experience as I've been working on my game as an adult player.
WOTC is one of the best tennis facilities in the area. Management does a great job keeping the place very clean and everyone working there is friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the tennis pros. Special shout out to one of the pros there, Mahendra. He's been coaching my daughter (who is in 7th grade), since this summer and we've seen noticeable improvements in her game since he took over from one of the pros who left. He's really knowledgeable about the game and finds multiple ways to approach getting concepts understood -- in both theory and illustration. Great personality and demeanor too! Also, the pro shop is well-run with dependable repair/re-stringing and a variety of equipment and brands to explore.
