This could be a great community resource and amount of courts and prices are very attractive for the city. Unfortunately, the facility is poorly managed and programs/systems in place are completely disorganized. For example, there’s an antiquated lesson booking system through the website which you eventually realize is useless because there’s also a paper system where the staff manually records who has priority and who’s on the waitlist. In practice, it’s often hard to get a lesson, or even reserve a court. This is compounded by the fact that the people staffing the front desk often lack basic customer service skills and knowledge about their own systems and protocols. i’ve met teachers here that leave because of the lack of organization of management which costs them (and the facility) money. For a facility funded by taxpayer money, we really deserve this public facility to be more effectively run so it can better serve the community.

Nice surface and conveniently located near city bikes and near subway stops, courts are deep enough, so someone can lob deep to the baseline and you can still run back and get it and swing even though it’s in a bubble in the winter total full range of motion . my only complaint is that there’s a light over the Side right near the wall / that goes right into the eyes of the server. (Just get middle court) It’s not the end of the world, but it’s not the most ideal location for a light, but decent facilities.

Booking system for lessons is really confusing. I booked, I checked the website the night before, it said “booked” (did not say waitlisted anywhere), so I woke up early and showed up, and turns out I did not have a lesson I was on the waitlist and there were no spots for me. If you’re booking lessons, watch out for this issue!
