Welch Village is a family-owned ski and snowboard area in the Cannon River Valley near Red Wing, Minnesota, founded by brothers Clem and Leigh Nelson in 1965. Ski instruction is offered, and for the 2025-26 season a new quad chairlift replaced the SkiLink double chairlift to give beginners quicker access to the slopes and extra space to practice. The area has night skiing and a terrain park, and it hosts the Welch Village Invitational, one of the largest high school alpine ski meets in the United States.
