I recently visited this YMCA location, and I was very impressed with the overall experience. The facility is incredibly spacious and modern, offering a welcoming atmosphere for all ages. One of the highlights is the gaming area, which provides a fun and engaging spot for kids and teens to enjoy. The swimming pool is well-maintained and perfect for both casual swimmers and those looking to exercise. The YMCA features two large basketball courts, which are excellent for both pickup games and organized activities. There’s always plenty of space, so it never feels overcrowded. In addition to sports, there are numerous activities available for both kids and adults, making it easy for families to stay active and entertained together. Overall, this YMCA location offers a clean, modern, and family-friendly environment. It’s a great place to work out, relax, and participate in community activities. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a versatile recreational facility!
Update 11/23/25 I have been going to this gym since it's grand opening. While the concept of a gender neutral changing was shocking at first, I have gotten somewhat used to it. Still not ideal but the rooms are private and I feel safe changing etc. it's just awkward when I want to fix my hair or look at myself in the mirror and there's someone's uncle 🤣 there is a background check ran on every member every night. The pool is lovely and heated enough. You won't freeze upon entering. There's a rock climbing wall, basketball hoop and splash zone in the pool. While the gym itself isn't huge it has everything you need for a good full body workout. Precor ellipticals, one stair master and a few types of exercise bikes. Original review: The gym is nice and family friendly. The pool is not open yet. No water. Just the concrete flooring. The biggest factor in the low rating is the GENDER NEUTRAL CHANGING ROOM????? Showers for all genders is CRAZY!!!! I cannot understand this concept?? There is a huge window between the changing room and the weights. There is another window between the weights and the gym. The facility is beautiful and very modern. However NEVER IN MY LIFE would I have expected the huge disappointment of gender neutral showers and locker rooms. I am completely shocked!!!
some days cant use half the basketball court because kids get to use the WHOLE court. i dont know if its some program or something but i personally dont like it.
I don't know how nee this establishment is, but I can tell it is recent. Even the parking lot looks good. You're going to be astonishing at every opportunity this YMCA has to offer. I like all the equipment at the gym. The entire staff is nice and it's very clean. The computer room offers the opportunity to do research. On hot days, they will turn on the water for everyone to enjoy the escape from the heat. They were still adding decorations when I was there. I would recommend bringing your kids here.
