Common Space Centers for Creativity (ACLEW) runs a Creativity Camp, a full-day day camp (about 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday) for children ages 5-14 in Toledo. Weeks include classes in art, theater and dance led by professional teaching artists, plus drawing, painting, pottery, creative writing, music and science activities, ending Friday with a camp show. It is run by a longstanding nonprofit arts agency.

Positive Force School of Dance is here along with Formations House of Dance. Martin Nagy also runs an incredible Summer Art Camp. Great place for extra curricular activities!!!
My son truly enjoys his Common Space weeks each summer. The staff is warm and welcoming and I have watched them help my child development confidence and public speaking comfort while exploring his creative side.
Best place for kids who are sitting home and have Nothing to do over the summer like art? Wanna be an actor or an actress we have great theater classes like dance come and sign up for common space arts camp were creativity is our only motto
I had run out of planned summer camps one year and found Common Space. My kids were not excited about spending a week in some old school building. When I picked them up after their 1st day they said they wanted to the entire following summer there. This is after spending many weeks at other popular camps in town. They would come home and continue to work on projects.
