We had our daughter's birthday party with Lacey as our host here. It was great! My daughter and all of her friends really had a good time. They got to do an activity for an hour and then had an hour for cake and presents. Lacey was super helpful setting up, cleaning up, and making sure everything went smoothly. We would do this again for sure.

Whichever women was in charge of the kid zone this morning decided to be a stickler for pointless rules, not allowing my daughter into the kid zone without shoes. (She had socks.) No big deal, as the Waterville YMCA is just down the road and let her in with no issues. This Y normally lets her in too when more reasonable people are present.

Used to really love my time at the Y. Was almost a daily regular for years. In the pool. I’m handicapped and have 5 herniated disks. 3 in the cervical and 2 in lumbar. In order to ease pain I do “traction” in the water. 5 lb weighs on my ankles and a tiny circular pillow that I use in the deep end to hang from. Just a 5 min procedure at the end of my swim. Was getting lots of relief from this as it was recommended by chiropractors and physical therapists. The traction is necessary otherwise the pain is nauseating. After 2 years…being virtually pain free. I was in the pool with my waterproof headphones on. A lifeguard whom I had never seen before marches over and starts yelling at me. I could not hear as my music was up. I turned the music off ..she then proceeded to yell about how I’m not allowed to bring to the pool an “inflatable” item. It’s just a small donut and a needed physical therapy device to do traction. I’ve been doing this daily for 2 years. She was rude embarrassing and I was not in the mood to explain my therapy to her. She was insistent that I remove the item from the pool area as it was not allowed to be in the pool area. I ignored her… my little pink neck pillow just laying by the pool infuriated her..about 30 min later another lifeguard a guy this time came over and interrupted my workout yet again. Same story. I told him I had been doing this for 2 years and by now I’m really upset, angry near tears and I’ve been embarrassed too in front of others. I was demeaned harassed and singled out for bullying by 2 lifeguards. I was so upset I left in tears and forgot my bathing suit in the locker room. I went back later and it was gone. I no longer swim at the Y in Perrysburg. Pain levels are high and I’m in constant pain. Need traction. Not recommending this location. The staff is rude and nasty. The way I was treated I should have went to an attorney as this facility bullied me and my health has regressed severely because of it. Also there have been BATS in the women’s locker room. I reported it and the staff was not too concerned. Finally someone came and captured it and took it back outside.

Super clean facility, staff was peppy even at 4:45 in the am. Really enjoyed my visit here. Fung shui in the weights room is unique. Wet sauna nice, dry sauna was out of order. Looked hot😂😂 Free coffee.

The “ baby “ pool isn’t so baby - it was nice and warm but 2’9 going to at least 4 foot. It’s a smaller pool and did allow my kid to splash around but this may not be a place to take kids under 4 to swim - the one In Lambertville is like a beach so there are tons of shallow areas for kiddos wanting to splash around but not be submerged. I will say the lifeguards were really paying attention
