I started my journey with Encore Dance Studio this summer by taking a Pilates Class. I have never enjoyed a class so much.I have continued each time a new class is offered, and am currently coming twice per week. My muscle strength has improved vastly and quickly.The classes are so well taught by Ashley and Izzy. I look forward to these classes each week as my "me time". I had never done Pilates before. Both instructors explain each movement in great detail, show you how to do it, and do it with you. I think the class is great for any level of ability, and movements can be altered to the individual. I feel I have accomplished more for my body by participating in Pilates than I have with any gym program I have done in the past. The workout in Pilates has also helped in controling my chronic back pain by strengthing my core. An additional bonus is the studio is beauthiful and welcoming. I never felt self-conscious about being there. I highly recommend.

I danced at Encore for a short amount of time (2 years), but it became one of the best choices I had ever made and I cannot recommend it enough. Through Encore, I found a love for dance that I hadn’t felt for years. I felt supported and loved by everyone there, dancers and teachers alike, and was treated like family. I learned new skills and saw an incredible amount of improvement despite not being there long. At Encore you are supported unconditionally, being offered opportunities that span further than just the studio and high school. Though I graduated, I am so glad I will still have the opportunity to be involved in the studio, and the wonderful people within it, and I encourage anyone that is thinking about joining to give it a try.

Encore has been an amazing experience for our little one. She is new to dance this year and wanted to try ALL the classes but after a nice chat with Ashley the owner and explaining her age and what she was interested in she thought hip hop would be a good place to start and boy has it!! Our little one has learned so much about dance this year and is excelling in her skills. We are looking forward to watching her in the spring show.

I started dancing in Encore adult classes in April of 2024 and have been part of hip hop, ballet, and tap. I have enjoyed each of the instructors I've worked with and they've all promoted fun safe atmospheres for adults to express their artistry and push themselves however hard they are comfortable with. I especially appreciate that even the adults have opportunities to perform. I plan to keep dancing with Encore, hopefully for many years to come, and look forward to hopefully even more opportunities for adults to dance. I have no children of my own who dance at Encore, but all the kids I see love it and their parents who I dance with always have nothing but great things to say about the opportunities their children have at Encore.

My daughters had their first dance class this week! We all had so much fun! The building is so welcoming. I love that there are windows that allow parents to see the kiddos during their class! We will definitely be sticking out dance class at Encore!
