The Tennis Center at Viridian is a resident amenity of the Viridian master-planned community in Arlington, with four lighted courts overlooking Lake Viridian. It offers summer youth camps along with private instruction, member-guest tournaments, the Viridian Cup and year-round USTA league play as a USTA-approved facility and Arlington Tennis Association participant. Camps, court reservations and drill schedules are handled through the community's resident portal, so enrollment is limited to Viridian residents rather than open to the public.

Powered by GoogleThis is a nice facility, but very poorly designed. Tennis courts are designed to be facing north and south on purpose, and these courts face east and west. The net result is that the sun is in your eyes a lot more than if the court was properly sited. There is also an almost constant wind from across the lake that goes across the courts, making it very difficult to play.
The courts started out rough but have gotten better.

Nice place to play tennis. My only concerns is that the court that I played on was messed with tapes and lines not related to the tennis.
Friend asked me to come & play Pickleball this morning & it was a beautiful day to play. The lines are a little hard to see the out of bounds, but all in all they are very nice & a nice view of the lake.
