Dent Tennis Academy is the junior tennis program of The Birch Racquet and Lawn Club in Keller, led by former ATP player Phil Dent with Taylor and Jenny Dent. Its year-round pathway runs from Red Ball for ages 4-8 through Orange and Green Ball, Prep levels for ages 11 and up, an Elite after-school squad and a full-time academy training weekday afternoons. Weekly Monday-Friday tennis camps run through the summer, split into morning and afternoon session blocks with full-week or daily drop-in registration. Elite and full-time academy training are open to non-members on a per-session drop-in basis.

Dent Tennis Academy is great for beginners, intermediate, and advanced players, both old and young. I play here many times each week and have found a wide variety of players to play with. Coach Mary currently teaches 2 of my boys and she is amazing. She knows her stuff, doesn’t waste time, but also makes it fun for the boys. Coach Jenna Z has also been an incredible coach to my kids. She is kind, patient, and tries her hardest every lesson to be a great teacher and coach. The facilities are top notch. Did I mention 5 indoor courts!?! I’m very grateful I found this place and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to improve in tennis or to just go out and play for fun.
