Powered by GoogleI was here for the Kira J Poetry show. Vapa is a performing art center in Charlotte. I enjoyed the space and the show. The room I attended the show in was really cool and appreciated it not being hot since this was a warm day outside. When I arrived the staff here were welcoming and pleasant. I look forward to attending again in the future. I highly recommend visiting this space. Vapa has beautiful visual art that’s really nice for the space.
This is the first time I've ever been here. Immediately when I walked in the receptionist was so helpful and kind. There was so much beautiful art displayed on the walls. This building offers so many different things! There's places to hold event, art classes, acting classes etc. I attended an event there last night "2026 Power Mixer CLT". What a truly amazing space. Had such a great time! Looking forward to more events here!
We were just there for an event and had an incredible time. All the artwork everywhere was so inspiring. I'd love to come on a day when they have the open galleries where we can meet the artists. Beautiful building! Super cool place for artists to connect and build community. Even have a community room for events. I can't wait to go back!
Visited this location for an exhibit (seeing Auschwitz). They have a huge parking lot with free parking. They are located right in front of Charlotte Ballet and are off college st. Huge center. I believe they use this location for many other exhibits and art gallery. All the employees were super nice and helpful. The inside was very clean and welcoming. The exhibit was easy to navigate and super informative and interesting. I would recommend the exhibit, and this location is a great place to host events.
As an event producer, finding a venue with flexible space and a creative vibe is everything. I love everything the VAPA Center has to offer. I recently used the center to manage one day of a 3-day festival and I used some of the artists from the space to be part of the production. The Executive Director, Arthur Rogers is great to work with, and will do whatever it takes to get the space set up the way you desire.
