Urban Ventures: The Hub is the Youth Hub of Urban Ventures, a faith-based nonprofit that has served South Minneapolis for more than 30 years. Its free Hub Club is a twice-weekly after-school program for grades K to 8 with tutoring, homework help and electives in STEM and robotics, music, cooking and farming, and sports. Music programs for ages 6 to 18 include piano, ukulele and guitar lessons and a songwriting course in the Ferber Family Foundation Music and Recording Studio. Free youth mentoring for ages 13 to 18 pairs teens with a personal mentor and a weekly peer group.
