It was my 10 year old daughter’s first time at Steve and Kate’s camp this year, and she absolutely loved it! She can’t wait to go back next summer. The camp offers so many fun, hands on activities for kids to choose from, she learned to crochet, sew, bake, and especially enjoyed the water days. Check-in and check-out were super easy, and I appreciated that lunch and snacks were provided. The camp was well organized, I felt completely comfortable and safe leaving her there, and the staff were wonderful. We’re definitely planning to return next year!

After switching from a remote role to a hybrid one at work, I needed to find full-day, flexible summer care for our 10-year-old. He tends to be shy and unsure of new environments, and when he first tried Steve & Kate's, he stuck to the same 1 or 2 activities each day, and then was coming home disappointed about how he chose to spend his day. It was a great exercise in how our self-directed choices impact our day! We encouraged him to branch out and try one new thing each day and push himself out of his comfort zone (which was also encouraged and supported by staff). After the first couple weeks, he found his groove, and he found new things to try, new friends to play with, and had a fantastic time. He was especially proud of his baking creations and had the time of his life at the foam party...he said it was a highlight of his summer! The flexibility of Steve & Kate's was incredible, and our kid truly ended up having a phenomenal summer!

We loved Steve & Kate's for summer 2023! Our 4-year-old had a blast. She especially loved the water days, baking and playing on the playground. I was worried that as a 4-year-old she might get lost in the shuffle, but there was a group just for the younger kids and she thrived. There were fun activities planned each week, so even though she went nearly every day for the entire summer, she never got bored. We will definitely be going back next summer!

We love Steve and Kate's Camp, our son has attended in California for several years and Minnesota now. The 'self-directed camper' philosophy is a perfect fit for us, allowing for kids to make decisions about how to spend their time and grow confidence within a safe and fun environment. There's a great mix of activities from baking to coding with plenty of outdoor time and games. Lunch and snacks are included which makes things easy. The staff is wonderful, always very friendly, professional and communicative.
