Easily the worst meet venue in the circuit. Their arrangement makes it impossible to see athletes compete. They could change the layout fairly simply to seat the crowd in a position to actually view the competition. However, they still have vault in a location that is up above and difficult to view, and try to make up for it by having projector displays of security cameras that are ineffective at appropriate viewing and feel like watching a prison feed. They shouldn’t be hosting meets until they make it a spectator friendly environment. Our gym won’t be back.
I took my granddaughter 5 year old for first free try out on 8/31/24 at 11:15 am and as soon as she started her coach name Jessica was very rude and almost made my granddaughter cried I saw it from where I was seating I thought it was just me and video some parts of the class she is there to help not just be standing looking with a mad and rude face and look as if she was tired and yawning. For first try out my granddaughter should have been happy she was excited to go and said her teacher was mad and if next time she came back to class if. She will have a happy teacher. I will not return to have my granddaughter treated as if she is doing something wrong. Pay attention how your kids get treated . My granddaughter was trying her best to follow directions but this woman Jessica was mean to her and unprofessional . No kid should go and feel bad or sad . I mention what happened to the new lady helping at the front desk .
Paid for my daughter to have an advanced summer gymnastics camp which was a significant effort coming from 3 hours away and staying for 3 days. Immediately encountered ‘coach April’ as an unwelcoming and a cold administrator. Ignored the rude attitude and personality, but as my daughter progressed through the camp, her only complaint was around coach April. Again ignored for the sake of a learning experience that required discipline. On the last day parents were allowed to observe gymnasts for the final couple of hours and coach April attacked my wife and I. We left to prevent unnecessary escalation and April followed us outside to continue to escalate. Absolutely the most unprofessional behavior I have ever seen. EVER. Our daughter really enjoyed the camp and we would consider returning if the camp was not under her leadership.
Only go here for meets, but it is a much bigger gym than I was expecting for being in a strip mall. Wish they had another beam at meets to have things move along quicker. Meet took a very long time to complete.
