Tysons Art and Learning Center is a small fine-art studio on Greensboro Drive in McLean, founded by two sisters, that offers art classes, writing workshops and summer camps with individualized instruction in a relaxed studio setting. The lead instructor is a Fashion Institute of Technology graduate who has taught fine art for more than ten years, and camps are commonly recommended for early-elementary children. Term-time studio hours are limited to weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings.

The quality of the work they bring home is truly remarkable - it is hard to decide which pieces to hang on the wall because they are all so good! Children work with various mediums, and you will be blown away with their growth. The camps offer lots of flexibility and run later into the summer than traditional camps, which is nice for schools that start after Labor Day. Na and her team are easy to work with and make scheduling make-up classes a breeze. If your child is artistically inclined, this is the best spot in the area for classes.
