Troy Camp is a USC student-run philanthropy (since 1948) offering a free, week-long overnight summer camp in the San Bernardino Mountains for about 200 South Los Angeles elementary students (3rd-5th grade from LAUSD schools near USC), plus year-round mentorship through high school. Spots are limited and campers are selected through participating teachers. All programming is free to families.

I went to this camp back in 1968 or 1969. Teacher suggested I go because I was shy and didn't talk much. I will never forget Troy Camp. Hail hail the gangs all here and we welcome you to old Troy Camp!😂🤣. I remember as if it was yesterday.
I just happened to look on Google maps and saw this I'm 56 years old and remember me and my brother going to Troy Camp in the 70's. When we were in elementary.
