The Tri City Chargers are a volunteer youth football and cheer league serving St. Charles, Geneva and Batavia, running flag football for ages 5-7, tackle football for ages 8-14 and cheerleading from pre-K through 8th grade. Alongside the fall season the association runs short summer football camps at Norris Stadium on the St. Charles East High School campus: a Youth Camp for grades 2-8 (June 16-18), a Flag Football 7x7 camp for grades 6-8 (Tuesdays and Thursdays in July) and a Lineman Camp for grades 6-8 (Wednesdays in July). All three run 11am-12pm - one hour a day, so they are skills clinics rather than a day camp. The league's stated aim is teaching football fundamentals in an environment that stresses safety, sportsmanship, teamwork and fun.
