Illinois Baseball Academy, based at The Yard in Northbrook, partners with North Shore park districts and community baseball organizations to run 11 weeks of summer camp at sites including Wilmette, Winnetka, Glencoe, Park Ridge and Edgebrook. Camps are one week long and half-day, meeting Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 12:00pm, with the North Shore Trevians flag-football camp the exception at 12:30pm-3:30pm. Offerings are split by age: Mini-Majors for ages 3-6 with fundamentals drills and daily games, Sandlot for ages 4-12 and Extra Innings for ages 3-12, plus MVP and Champions camps for ages 7-13 that divide each day evenly between baseball and football or basketball. Registration is handled through each partner park district rather than centrally.
