I have had three of my kids attend camps at traveling players. Even during covid we created a POD so that we could support the program. This year my daughter was scheduled to attend but also got a last minute invite to a field hockey tournament. She wanted to play and would miss a weekend. We were told it was not possible as it was too much of a Covid risk - Even though there are kids that got homesick and went home and came back.... So instead of refunding or giving us a credit towards future events ---- they changed out $5k payment into a donation. I contacted Jeanie directly - and she ignored me. STAY AWAY. They are more interested in your money then child's artistic development

My 10th grader loooooves Traveling Players Ensemble! She's spent the last three summers thoroughly enjoying her time with TPE and can't wait to return again this summer. The staff really know their stuff plus are incredibly kind, the friendships she's made with other campers are beyond special, and the performances are truly top notch! We are constantly amazed by the exceptional productions and how wickedly talented these kiddos are. We wish we had started sending her when she was younger; THAT'S what kind of recommendation this is. =)

We have been sending our kids to Traveling Players continuously for 6 years for the summer programs, school-year classes, and even during the pandemic virtual year. Our kids feel like Traveling Players is their home away from home! If you (or your child) wants to be the STAR of the show, then this is not the place for you. If you want your child to learn about teamwork, to experience a true ensemble experience, and to learn deep meaningful complicated plays, then this is the place for you. The staff is passionate about not just theatre but also helping the kids grow into thoughtful, confident, and empathic young adults. Their EQ will grow leaps and bounds!

I can't speak highly enough of the talented, compassionate staff of Traveling Players or the gifted director, Jeanne Harrison, especially when they had to pivot to deliver a virtual summer camp last year. And deliver they did. They worked wonders. My daughter has participated in TPE's summer camps for the past three years and a winter improvisation class. The confidence and lasting friendships she has gained are priceless.

My daughter has participated in several productions over the years. She was in several winter shows as well as participating in the Greek Myths Ensemble, Middle School Ensemble, High School Ensemble, and the Commedia Ensemble. She loved every minute of her time with Traveling Players and has connected with people from Traveling Players in college despite not having been in the same ensemble with them. Participating in Traveling Players is an instant lifelong connection to a community. As a parent, it was such a relief to have found Traveling Players. I knew every year that two weeks or four weeks or more of the summer was covered with a safe, fun activity that our daughter loved. She learned so much from each play and each ensemble. Her experience with Traveling Players has helped her adjust to college during a pandemic and the ensemble building skills she learned continue to serve her in her ability to form connections, build relationships and friendships with others. She used the ensemble building skills she learned at Traveling Players as a sleepaway camp junior counselor, as the Captain of her school tennis team, and now in internship and job interviews at college. We highly recommend Traveling Players Ensemble.
